![]() As a values-based organization, we place a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion. There are SO MANY current and former employees that feel this way, and have for years! A court case would have a LONG list of people who could testify! Senior leaders need to investigate this toxic culture but NOT HR, as they are part of the problem! this has absolutely become a workplace where Human Resources protects itself beyond fair measure - the strangest and most toxic part is that this company requires many people to work overtime without OT pay - they suggest that employees should feel ‘lucky’ to work there, and imply that (unpaid) overtime is simply something you need to do as part of your job. Extreme culture dysfunction includes: - super clique-y marketing workplace culture - ‘mean girls’ climate, particularly with the long term female employees in marketing - Vancity has recently been firing and letting go long-term employees, in ways that are dangerously clown-ethical / a breaking of disability regulations. There are MANY people who still work there who are struggling through the same issues, but can’t say anything without putting their jobs at risk. This is so much more than a single-person’s experience. Vancity charges a $10.00 service fee for processing incoming wire transfers.Vancity’s workplace culture from a distance ‘appears’ good, but the amount of toxicity and workplace bullying - particularly in the marketing department- is absolutely shocking and deeply disappointing. ![]() We have no control over the imposition of these fees and are not advised of these fees in advance of the funds being sent. The sending institution and intermediary financial institution may deduct service charges prior to the wire arriving at Vancity. Please note incomplete wire instructions may result in funds being returned to the sending financial institution. You can minimize any currency exchange costs by sending the funds in the currency of the recipient’s financial institution. We cannot advise on how much the extra fees will be as it depends on which intermediary financial institution it goes through. This means direct deposits are not always direct bank to bank and could require a middle man to help relay the transfer. Sending Wire fees are $35 if the funds are going outside of Canada and $20 if sent as Canadian dollars within Canada.Īdditional fees may apply if an intermediary financial institution is required to relay the transfer to its final destination. Please ensure that the recipient financial institution is able to receive funds in the currency you wish to send. All the information you’ll need to provide is on that form to give to the sender.
